Florida Atlantic defeated Arkansas-Little Rock 88-71 on Saturday for their seventh straight victory.

It was also the seventh Sun Belt Conference victory for the Owls.

"The crowd was tremendous," said Ray Taylor. "I think I warmed up the whole time with a big smile on my face because the energy was just terrific.

"Like Kore [White] even told the guys in charge of getting the section like that, that was like an extra 10 points before the game even started."

Arkansas Little-Rock hit a school-record 17 three-pointers in their 81-50 win over Louisiana-Monroe on Thursday night.

The Trojans shot a 65.4 percent from three-point range and got a career-high 26 points from senior Solomon Bozeman on the way to their second-straight victory.

"A team shoots seventeen out of twenty-six from the three-point line, I don't care who's coaching, it's going to be a good night," said assistant coach Joe Kleine. "Credit goes to our players. We were very fortunate that they shot the ball that well tonight. That's incredible."
